James Siderias is a candidate for Oklahoma County District Judge. As a sitting Special Judge, former prosecutor, civil litigator and family law practitioner, James has the experience required for the bench. He is passionate about keeping us safe and protecting our most vulnerable.

Meet James
James Siderias is an experienced judge, a man of faith and a community servant.
Exceptionally Qualified
Currently a Special Judge for the Oklahoma County District Court, James has presided over hundreds of cases. He is known for being firm but fair. James previously served more than a decade prosecuting child abuse, sex crimes and violent offenders. In private practice, he was the first line of defense for those who stood accused, an advocate for those left less than whole, a defender of small business, and a fighter for parents and children in family court.
A Life of Public Service
James grew up in El Reno and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University before earning his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. He immediately entered a life of public service, prosecuting child abuse, sex crimes and homicides before building his law practice. James is committed to keeping Oklahoma County a safe place to live and raise a family.

As an Oklahoma County District Judge, James will be on the frontlines of protecting our community – whether that requires prison when justice demands or discernment when mercy is appropriate. He believes in a judiciary that does not legislate from the bench, but rather enforces the rule of law. James is an impartial judge who maintains independence.
